Sadhya's World Dance Day

As part of the world dance Day celebrations, on the 29^th April, Santosh Nair in association with India Habitat Centre, presented an extravaganza of traditional , classical and contemporary dance styles with over 100 dancers .

The venue for the performance was the The Plaza Steps at the India Habitat Center. As the steps cascade down, they are lined with bushes and trees. They present different platforms at different levels to perform on, giving the artistes the advantage of stages.

Santosh Nair began his journey as a dancer under the guidance of his father Sh. Kalamandalam Padmanabhan in the year 1986 as a kathakali dancer. He is also trained in odissi, mayurbhanj chhau under Guru Janmejoy Saibabu and in contemporary dance under Narendra Sharma of Bhoomika Creative Dance Center.
